Fascia boards (the flat horizontal boards running along the roof edge) and soffits (the underside boards bridging the house wall to the fascia) are critical to your home's health. The fascia serves as the anchor point for your gutters. When gutters overflow due to clogs, water backs up over the fascia board, soaking the wood and causing rot. A rotted fascia board cannot support gutter brackets, leading to gutters sagging and pulling off during winter storms.

Soffits are equally important because they provide the intake ventilation path for your attic. Without soffit vents, cold fresh air cannot enter the attic space, which traps heat and moisture under the roof deck. This trapped moisture breeds mold and causes winter snow to melt on the roof deck, refreezing at the edge to form ice dams. We replace water-damaged soffits with vented PVC panels designed for continuous airflow.

To protect new wood fascia boards from future water exposure, we wrap them in custom-bent aluminum coil wrap. Our crews use a portable metal brake to bend aluminum sheets to match your fascia's dimensions. This wrap seals the wood from rain and snow, greatly reducing the need to paint or scrape your roofline.
